BAP Card - Lucrecia's Birthday 2012

On Thursday my friend celebrated her birthday and we managed to catch up yesterday. We went to Scrap'n'Stuff, which is a craft shop in Richardson, ACT and then we came back to my place for a craft session. I have never done any canvas type craft projects, so my friend gave me some tips and ideas on what to do. I have a whole new way of looking at old sewing patterns, specifically the tissue paper part.  Anyway, Friday after arranging to catch up with my friend for Saturday, I got busy making her birthday card. Once again I used the Build-A-Page (BAP) concept by Paper Phenomenon for this card and I'm very pleased with how it turned out.  I used Kraft Cardstock for the base and My Mind's Eye 'Breeze' Collection to decorate it. I used some magnets to keep the cover flap closed and to keep BAP4 add-on closed.

BAP Wallet - Mum's Birthday 2012

I love the Build-A-Page (BAP) concept designed by Kathy from Paper Phenomenon. Kathy of course took that one step further and using the BAP designed the BAP Wallet.  I made this wallet last year for my dad's birthday and decided to make it this year for my mum.  I have used Kraft Cardstock and decorated it using the Kaisercraft Bonjour Collection pattern paper. I wanted to capture the girly girly of my mum, her love of the garden and her appreciation of nature.  This paper beautifully captures that as it is in pink, green and brown.  There are no photos yet in this BAP Wallet and I will get my mum to bring it with her when she visits me later this year and we can then fill it with photos.

My explanations for each photo may be a little confusing, which I apologise for, but it is kinda hard to describe. The best I can offer is that the wallet has a base, followed by a BAP in the north, south, east and west positions.  Each BAP has a BAP Style add-on, which I have indicated.

Hallowe'en in Wonderland Album

Last year I was inspired by Clare's "Haunted Album".  I think I watched this YouTube video about 10 times.  Clare (My Creative Spirit blog) kindly provided the measurements for this album in two YouTube tutorials - Tutorial One and Tutorial Two - which I really appreciated.  Over the last six months I have slowing being making my own album. I have varied it slightly and because I couldn't get my hands on the patterned paper she used, I decided to use Graphic 45's "Hallowe'en In Wonderland" paper.  I'm really pleased with how my album has turned out and grateful for the inspiration Clare has given me to create this beautiful piece of craft.  I don't have the ability to do a YouTube video of my project, so I've taken photos of each of the pages and a few of the tags.  I hope you enjoy looking at my album.
