Card: Tri-Shutter Card - G45 Ladies Diary

A few weeks ago I was commissioned by a work colleague/friend to make a birthday card. The scope I was given was the same style card I had made for a bady shower we had both attended.   Her friend likes girly stuff, flowers and bright colours. Well, I don't really have many bright colours in my craft stash, that's not really the style I make and certainly nothing that would suite the other requirements of girly and flowers.

I am very happy with how this card has turned out and I know my work colleague/friend will also love the card.  It may not be what she was hoping for and if she doesn't want it, then I get to keep it LOL.

I've taken two photos and a very quick YouTube video. The two photos show one with the hidden message envelope (photo 1) and the second shows the spot where the hidden message envelope is attached to the card with a magnet (photo 2).  The YouTube video just briefly shows the card with and without the hidden envelope and I mention the products I've used. It is quite hard to show case a tri-shutter card to do it justice.

Anyway, here are the photos:

Here is the YouTube video:

  • Cardstock: Paper Accent "Toffee" cardstock; Stampin' Up! Very Vanilla
  • Paper: My Mind's Eye - Lost & Found - Madison Ave "Pretty Dress Shop"; Graphic 45 A Ladies Diary
  • Ink: Tim Holtz Distress Ink Vintage Photo
  • Embellishments: Dimensional Magic; Wild Orchid Crafts (flowers & crown pin); Zva Creative self adhesive pearls (pink); Porta Craft pearls (brown); Tim Holtz Fasteners
