Wedding Card - Shannon & Kate

My nephew is getting married and this is the wedding card that I made for him and his partner Kate.  I used the new Kaisercraft collection Rose Avenue with a few bits and bobs from my stash.

Scrapbook LO - Beautiful

Hello fellow crafters. A month ago I made this layout of my mum (I can't believe it's been a month). Anyhoo, I had fun making this layout using the new (to me) Kaisercraft High Tea collection plus a few other bits and bobs.  The LO was inspired by Gabrielle Pollaco Memories Layout shown on YouTube.

FMAK #01/2017 - Celebration - Kit Contents

Hi Fellow crafters. Today I am sharing with you the kit contents of my first home made kit for 2017.  I am naming this kit celebration due to the vibrant colours included.

This photo shows the 12"x12" Kaisercraft patter paper from the Fiesta collection that I used to base my kit on.  This pattern paper had numerous colours that I could use to make a kit full of different colours giving me quite a diverse range of product that would allow for many types of photos to be scrapped.

This next photo shows my craft table set up with the kit contents close at hand.  Having the product laid out how I have and using a number of containers that help show case the colours of the product helps me to be motivated to create.

The next set of photos shows the different products that I have used to make up this kit.  I have used my "putting the kit together" process to select the products that I want to use, love to use and always give my pages the look and feel that I like.

Card #1/2014 - Mixed Media

Hi fellow crafters. I've been slowly working on this card, specifically the background. Today, while do other craft projects, I decided to finish off making a card with the background I had created. I've kept the card simple, adding the butterfly with a flower and few pieces of bling.  I also used my TCW stencils and background stamps. I'm very happy with how the card has turned out, even if it is not my normal style of card making. I was practicing my mixed media techniques.

Use It Up Detash Mini Album Page Swap

Hi fellow crafters. Prior to the PITA Facebook group shutting down, I participated in the use it up detash mini album page swap.  I made six pages. The style of my pages is based on Kathy Orta's Retro Fitted Mini Album - see Paper Phenomenon - to grab the tutorial.

I had heaps of fun making these pages. I focused on using paper from my stash that I had already dug into, but still had a few sheets of the collection left.  With the exception of one page, all pages were made using Kasiercraft collections. The one that wasn't Kaisercraft was Bo Bunny. I love the papers from both these companies.

Below is a link to my YouTube video as well as photos of each page.

Tri-Shutter Card - Graphic 45 "A Ladies Diary" - 50th Birthday

I was commissioned to make a 50th birthday card.  My friend wanted a tri-shutter card that was girly.  This was an easy concept, but it was much harder for me to get my creativity juices flowing for a variety of different reasons. However, once I committed to the G45 Ladies Diary collection and started working out an idea the card just came together.  I'm really happy with how it turned out.

Here is a photo of the card.

Here is a YouTube video of the card.

A Year In Review - Baby Project - Boy

Hi fellow crafters. Over the last couple of weeks I have been making a baby project for my friend who is due to have a baby boy early August. Tonight I presented her with the project.

I am very pleased and proud of myself for how this project turned out. My friend loved the gift. Since she is a fellow crafter she understands what goes into this type of project.

The tutorial for this project can be purchased from Paper Phenomenon. In the comments section of my YouTube video I provide a link to Kathy's Baby Project YouTube video.

Below are a few photos, as well as a link to my YouTube video.  Thanks for stopping by.
