Kenny K's Krafty Krew - Patriotic Challenge

While checking out my blog list I decided to see what was happening on the Kenny K's Krafty Krew (formerly Krafty Girlz) blog challenge.  This week the theme is Patriotic. I've never participated in a challenge before but I liked the idea of this theme and was looking for a good excuse, not that I really need one, to finally get around and using my Kenny K's digi images.

Since I live in Australia, the colours of my country are Red, White and Blue. I know many people might think green and gold, since that is what we wear in the Olympics, but I'm working on the colours of our flag.

I decided to use "Bodacious Bev" and I think she looks fantastic.  Here is my card:

Challenge: Krafty Krew #100 Raise your Flag

Supplies:
  • Copic: Skin E50, E51, E53 / Hair: E33, E35, E37, E47 / Clothes & Shoes: B24, B29, R35, R37 / Eyes B24 / Cross: 100 + a touch of Spica 0 through out
  • Wild Orchid Craft Flowers and Crown Pin
  • Sizzix Star Die
  • Stamp: "My Heart Belongs in Australia" unknown company (unmounted)
  • Digi: Kenny K's "Bodacious Bev"

Update 3 Jul : Corrected stamp saying in supplies list

Yay, another Kenny image, I didn't think anyone was going to use one! Great card and love your sentiment, nice to see something really personal on a card and I love that you have written it by hand too. Thanks for joining us over at Kenny K's Krafty Krew this week, good luck and I hope we will see you again really soon for another challenge.
Take Care

Just re-read your list of items used and see that the words are a stamp, well they look handwritten when stamped onto fabric so don't know if you knew this would be the outcome but well done either way 'cause it looks way cool.
